How to Install a Pinterest Bookmarklet

For easy pinning while browsing the Web, add the Pinterest bookmarklet Pin It to your favorites or bookmarks bar by first opening your browser of choice. Visit the Pinterest Goodies page (link in Resources) and locate the section titled "The Pin It Button."
1 Using Internet Explorer or Chrome
If you want to install the Pinterest bookmarklet in Internet Explorer, right-click next to the Web page tab and click "Favorites bar" to view your favorites. Double-click the "Pin It" icon and drag it to your favorites bar. Click "Yes" to verify that you want to add the bookmarklet. To install the bookmarklet in Chrome, click the "Settings" icon and hover over "Bookmarks." Click "Show Bookmarks Bar." Locate and click the hyperlinked text at the end of "The Pin It Button" section that reads "Looking for the Pinterest Bookmarklet?" Double-click the "Pin It" icon and drag it to your bookmarks bar.
2 Using Firefox or Safari
If you are using Firefox, click "View," "Toolbars" and "Bookmarks Toolbar." If you are using Safari, click "View" and "Show Bookmarks Bar." Using either browser, double-click the "Pin It" icon and drag it to your bookmarks bar.
