How to Edit Your Boards on the Pinterest App for iPhone

The iPhone app for Pinterest enables you to pin photos you snap on the fly with your iPhone camera. You can also instantly add images from your iPhone camera roll with the app. However, one of the most useful features of the Pinterest app for iPhone is the ability to edit your boards and manage group board memberships from the app. Edit board attributes, leave group boards that you follow and remove members from group boards you own using the Pinterest iPhone app.

Open the Pinterest app on the iPhone. The app opens to your Pinterest profile screen.

Tap the “Boards” tab, and then tap the board to edit. The Board Details screen opens.

Tap the gear icon in the upper right corner of the Board Details screen to open the Board Settings menu.

Tap the “Name” field, and then type a new name for the board. Tap the “Description” field, and then type a new description for the board, if desired.

Tap the “Board Cover” option, and then tap “Change Cover” to select another image for the board cover.

Tap the “Make Board Secret” option to change a public board to private. Tap the “Make Board Visible” to change a private board to public.

Tap the “Save” button to save the edited settings.

Open the Pinterest app to view your Pinterest profile screen.

Tap the “Boards” option, and then tap the board to change. The Board Details screen displays.

Tap the gear icon in the upper right corner of the Board Details screen to open the Board Settings menu.

Tap the “Leave Board” option to remove your membership from the group board.

Tap “Who Can Pin?” to open the board’s Members list.

Tap the “Remove” option next to the entry for the member you want to remove. The member is removed from the board.
