At first glance, it may appear that you cannot change the language from Spanish to English on the TI-84 Plus Silver graphing calculator. There are many different languages to choose from (such as French, Spanish and Dutch) except English. However, changing the language to English from Spanish or any other language is a straightforward process. The TI-84 family of graphing calculators is designed for international use. Changing the language to one of the supported languages is done through the "APPS" menu.
1 Press the APPS button with the calculator
Press the "APPS" button with the calculator turned on.

2 Scroll down and select a language
Scroll down and select a language. Any language will do, for example, "Español." Press "ENTER" after selecting a language. The Language Localization screen will appear asking you to choose either the new language or English.
3 To select English
Press "2" to select "English."
