How to Get Telemarketers to Call You
4 OCT 2017
CLASS
Telemarketers are professionals who call individual phone numbers to offer sales opportunities, recruit help for non-profit campaigns, take political surveys and polls and offer prizes. Telemarketers have often been vilified for interrupting family dinners and T.V. programs, but some people enjoy receiving these distracting calls. Increasing the number of calls received is a simple process.
Enter every prize sweepstakes or contest possible. Allow the sponsor to contact you with special offers, and provide your phone number.
Give companies permission to sell your information. Many banks and financing companies include a clause in their contracts giving them the ability to sell your information to telemarketing companies. Initial or sign this clause to permit companies to sell your information.
Make donations to political organizations. Many political organizations call donors to solicit more donations, or to inform them about the need to renew membership. Let the organization know that you prefer to be contacted by phone.
Respond positively to telemarketing calls. Encourage the telemarketer by saying phrases such as "Not right now, but please keep me on your list."
