Whether you are looking to support a local charity or to rid your house of some unwanted books, several organizations in Arizona will accept used, unwanted books as donations.

1 Reading Tree

Reading Tree is a non-profit organization focused on supplying books to needy areas. All types of unwanted books can be donated in the Reading Tree bins found in Arizona cities, including Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek, Casa Grande and Maricopa.

2 Salvation Army

3 Goodwill of Central Arizona

With multiple locations in and around Phoenix, Goodwill of Central Arizona accepts gently-used book donations. Donations help people of all ages learn basic skills.

4 Volunteer Non-Profit Service Association (VNSA)

VNSA holds an annual book sale to raise funds for three humanitarian agencies in Arizona. Drop boxes are located in Phoenix, Sun City, Gilbert, Apache Junction, Tempe, Scottsdale and Ahwatukee. Alternatively, VNSA will pick up books from your home if you call or email them to arrange for this service.
