Yahoo Mail permits you to associate other email addresses with your account so that you can receive mail from multiple sources all in one place. AOL uses a Post Office Protocol server to transfer messages contained in your mailbox to other email services. To link your AOL account with Yahoo Mail, provide Yahoo with your account credentials and the address of the POP server from which you want to receive your mail.
Log in to Yahoo Mail, and then point your cursor to the gear icon on the top right side of the page.
Click "Settings," and then click the "Add" button on the Accounts tab.
Type your AOL email address and a description for the account into the available fields, and then click "Save."
Log in to AOL Mail, and then open the confirmation message Yahoo sent to your mailbox.
Follow the instructions in the email to verify your AOL account with Yahoo Mail.
Return to your Yahoo Mail account, open "Settings," click your AOL address, and then click "Edit."
Check "Set Up to Receive Emails," and then type your display name, email address and password into the available fields.
Type "pop.aol.com" (without quotation marks) into the POP Server field, and then click "Save" to begin receiving messages from your AOL account.
Copies of messages you receive in Yahoo Mail from your AOL account will be deleted from your AOL Mail inbox.
