How to Make Changes on a CUNY App

City University of New York frequently ranks in the top 50 regional public schools.

Most high school seniors find submitting applications to prospective colleges nerve-wracking, especially for a top-ranked institution like City University of New York (CUNY). The thought of risking rejection based solely on a mistake in the application itself can even prevent some from committing to clicking the “Submit” button. Fortunately, CUNY applicants can apply with fewer reservations, knowing they have the ability to make changes to their CUNY application even after having submitted.

Identify the changes that you want to make on your CUNY application. Review your copy of the submitted application and highlight the changes you need to make.

Contact the admission's department by either e-mail or phone. Send e-mail to aonline@mail.cuny.edu or call 212-997-CUNY (2869). Have your name, social security number and application ID ready.

Identify the fields that you entered incorrectly on your submitted application. Provide the correct information for the admission’s office to enter. Ask for a copy of the revised application to review.
