Practical Math Projects

Transcript

Hi, my name is Stefan. Today, I'm going to be speaking on practical math projects and a real project that I like to use I look at the consumption of goods or food in the home. This is good it helps with doing groceries. You want to take your basic items like bread and you want to take things like eggs and look at the time it takes to consume them. You know it might take two weeks to consume bread and eggs. It might take four weeks to consume it. And what we can do here if we know that it takes two weeks to consume bread and four weeks to consume eggs then we could just buy bread twice as much as you buy eggs. So 2b equals e. Twice of bread equals e. So when you go shopping it will cut out the number of times you go shopping. So there's a great project to do. And it's very practical.
