How to Become a Seer
29 SEP 2017
Whether you're looking to discern hidden aspects of the past, present or future, the skills of a seer or clairvoyant are available to anyone with sufficient mental discipline to master them. Though you may believe that psychic gifts are inherent and cannot be learned, a rigorous process of self-exploration and diligent practice can help you discover and release your own latent seer's gifts.
1 Meditate regularly
Meditate regularly. For a basic meditation, sit or lay down somewhere comfortable, close your eyes, and breathe slowly and deeply while trying to relax your body as much as possible. Focus on your breath and let your mind drift while trying not to think. Once your mind is relaxed, drift in a light trance state for a while, then work on exploring your mind and meditate on the idea of spiritual and clairvoyant openness and what it means to you. Your subconscious will gradually awaken to this intention if you meditate for at least a half hour every day. Meanwhile, you will carry more of the calm, trance-like state into your everyday life while becoming more aware of the workings of your inner mind.
2 Get in touch with your intuition
Get in touch with your intuition, both during your meditation and during day-to-day events. Most likely, you will know your intuition as a thought or instinctual sense of truth that seems to arise from no particular course of logic or thought process in your control. It may also come with a strong sense of rightness or truth that you can't explain. Learn to know the difference between intuition and other kinds of mental processes by being aware of regular thought processes (like conjecture or association) and by being aware of your own desires and fears so that you can set them aside.
3 To try to give shape
Experiment with standard divination methods to try to give shape to your intuition and bring out your talents. Try your hand at things like tarot cards, runes, smudging, crystal balls or pendulums. These tools are designed to help you identify what your instincts are telling you indirectly by using open-ended symbols or “blank slate” visualization methods.
4 Practice with friends and acquaintances
Practice with friends and acquaintances as test subjects to hone your skills. Do your best to identify information, then ask if you were correct. Identify patterns in your thought processes that lead to correct information vs. those that don't.
