If you think satanic witches are after you, a simple plea of “get behind me Satan” may not cut it. But there are a number of prayers used against the devil and his followers that, according to the Catholic Church, will do just the trick. From prayers commonly used in exorcisms to prayers inspired from the Bible, there are a number of them that could protect you with God’s grace and send those stygian witches fleeing in the opposite direction.
Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel
Known as one of the chief princes and leader of the forces of Heaven, St. Michael led an army to defeat the powers of hell (Ephesians 6:12). Since the time of the Apostles he has been honored as a patron and protector of the Church, and he is even the patron saint of police officers. It is therefore fitting that many have prayed to this defender of the church when the devil’s servants are making threats. The prayer to St. Michael -- in which the one making the prayer says, “We confidently undertake to repulse the attacks and deceits of the devil” -- is so powerful that it is even used in exorcisms. If satanic witches are trying to use their witchcraft against you, this prayer could be your best weapon to send them back to their dens of depravity.
I Saw Satan Falling
Luke 10:17-20 is a powerful portion of the Bible that describes an expulsion of evil. When the Lord speaks, He announces that He “saw Satan as lightning fall from Heaven” and says to his followers, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and all over the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you”. This empowerment given by the Lord to His worshippers evokes the power of faith and could be used to keep evil witches away from harming the faithful.
Morning Consecration to Mary
There are many prayers to the Virgin Mary and one of them, the Morning Consecration to Mary, is a clear plea to her for protection. Devoted Catholics who send this prayer offer themselves to Mary: “My Queen, My Mother, I offer myself entirely to thee”. The person making the prayer then devotes to Mary their “whole being without reserve”. The prayer concludes by the faithful saying, “I am thine own, keep me, guard me as thy property and possession”. In the event a coven of evil witches is trying to break down your door, this prayer will declare you property of Mary, granting divine protection.
The Lord's Prayer
The Lord’s Prayer is arguably the most often said prayer. Some may recite it courtside, hoping their team can make the shot at the buzzer, and others may say it in the event witches are casting spells at them. In terms of the latter, the heart of this prayer lies in the portion that says “and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory for ever”. In requesting deliverance from evil while acknowledging God’s greatness, the afflicted person has a powerful prayer at their disposal to help withstand soul-polluting witchcraft.
