Solving sequence sums will require you to identify the individual parts of your equation and what they each represent. Solve sequence sums with help from an expert in computers, with two degrees in both Computer Science and Applied Mathematics in this free video clip.

Hi, my name is Stefan. Today, I'm going to be speaking on how to solve sequence sums. Let's say for example we have the sequence sum how to add the numbers 1 to 5. Now to solve sequence sums you go by the equation S of N is equivalent to N x N + 1/2. In this case, N is equivalent to 5, so that's 5 x N + 1 which is 6/2 which is equivalent to 15 and we can prove that by going 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5, that's 9 + 6 and that's equivalent to 15. The answers match and that's how you solve sequence sums.
