Tumblr offers the ability to queue your upcoming posts and automatically publish them over the course of hours or days. This keeps your blog active without requiring you to be online at the time of publication. You can store up to 300 posts in your queue, and schedule up to 50 a day for publishing.

Fill Your Queue

Creating a queued post starts the same as any new post. Write your message and click the down arrow next to the "Publish" button. Select "Add to Queue" in the drop-down menu, then click the "Queue" button. Create as many new posts as you like, and add them to your queue.

Edit Queued Posts

Tumblr automatically publishes a certain number of your queued posts every day. You can adjust the number of posts as well as when they appear by editing your queue settings. Click the Home icon on your Tumblr account and select "Queue" on the right side of the page. Change the number of posts and time frame of for publishing them at the top of the Queue page.
