An administrator password provides a sense of security to your Windows operating system. It prevents unauthorized users from accessing your files and programs. This can be frustrating if you happen to share the computer with others in your household. You can remove the feature when you want to grant someone access to the computer. From there, you can unblock computer games and other programs.

Click "Start," then "Control Panel." Click at "User Accounts and Family Safety."

Click "Change Password." Choose "Remove Password" from the list of options. Enter your password.

Select "Remove Password" when it asks, "Are you sure you want you to remove your password?" Restart the computer for the changes to take effect.

Allow the person access to the computer. Wait for the computer to boot. Click "Start" and "All Programs." Click the computer games to play.
