Backless or low-cut dresses may be stylish and sultry, but no matter how pretty your bra, a band poking out from that plunging back will drag your sex appeal down. Don't give up on sporting a scoop-back style -- strap on a foundation garment enhancement that will keep everything contained without showing the room what you keep beneath your clothes. Convert your favorite bra to fit your dress's scooped shape with an extension bra strap, or low back extender, that matches the hook and eye closures of any bra.

Double Extension Straps

Step 1

Slide the adjusters on your bra's regular shoulder straps to lengthen the straps completely.

Step 2

Attach the hook end of one extension strap to the eye side of your bra back.

Step 3

Attach the eye end of the other extension strap to the hook side of your bra back.

Step 4

Slip your arms through your bra's regular straps.

Step 5

Hold an extension strap in each hand. Criss-cross them at the back and bring both ends over your stomach.

Step 6

Attach the hook and eye closures over your stomach. Slide the adjusters on the extension straps to fit.
