Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards are provided to families in need of financial assistance and are used to distribute food stamps and cash. Not all applicants qualify to receive financial assistance in the form of cash, but those who do are able to withdraw the money at an ATM just as they would using a debit card.
Insert your EBT card into the ATM card slot. When prompted, select the language in which you would like to conduct the transaction.
Enter your EBT card pin when prompted. This pin would have been mailed to you separately from the EBT card.
Select "Checking" when prompted to choose an account. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter and confirm the amount you would like to withdraw.
Choose whether to accept the ATM fee, if any, and select "Yes" or "Continue." To discontinue the transaction, hit "Cancel."
Hit "Yes" when asked if you would like a receipt. The receipt will list the transaction details and keep track of the funds remaining in your EBT account.
Take your cash, receipt and EBT card from the ATM.
