Becoming a floral designer is a great way to express yourself creatively while helping others express themselves through beautiful, fragrant flowers. Florists have the opportunity to work for a wide range of businesses, including small flower shops, wedding specialists and catering services. As a florist, you have the added bonus of venturing out to your own flower shop.

Many flower shops offer introductory design courses at their retail location; but if you are serious about being a floral designer, it's best to attend a floral design school that will provide you with extensive knowledge and practice to take you further in your career.
