Practical nurses play a vital role in the field of health care. Under the supervision of registered nurses or other health professionals, they provide health care that helps sustain the well-being of the patient. There are a number of licensed practical nursing (LPN) programs available that can be completed in just 10 months. These accelerated programs allow nursing students to learn the essential skills needed for the field and quickly transition to the workforce.
