Your Twitter account posts your tweets on your Facebook Timeline automatically only if you've linked the two accounts. Instead of deleting each tweet manually from your Facebook Timeline, you can stop Twitter from sending your tweets to Facebook. You don't need to unlink the two accounts because Twitter lets you change its sharing settings. Note that Twitter may also post tweets on your Facebook pages. You can stop it from posting on your pages as well.
Click the gear icon on Twitter and choose "Settings" from the menu to navigate to your account's Settings page.
Click the "Profile" link in the navigation pane to view and change your profile information. Your Facebook sharing settings are located in the Facebook section of the page.
Uncheck the "Post retweets to Facebook" and "Post to my Facebook profile" boxes to stop Twitter from sending tweets to your Facebook account.
Uncheck the "Post to my Facebook page" box if you want Twitter to stop posting on your business pages.
Click the "Save Changes" button to apply and save the new changes. Twitter stops posting on your Facebook account as soon as you click this button.
Click "Home" to return to the main Twitter page.
- To share your tweets on your Facebook account, simply check the "Post retweets to Facebook" and "Post to my Facebook profile" boxes.
- If you want to unlink the two accounts, click the "Disconnect it" link in the Facebook section. Note that you must relink the two accounts to post tweets on your Facebook account.
- You can delete all tweets from your Facebook account by checking the "Delete all your Twitter activity on Facebook" box when removing the Twitter app from the Facebook account.
