Soccer-Related Math Projects

Transcript

Hi, my name is Stefan. Today, I'm going to be speaking on soccer related math projects. A good thing in soccer that I like to watch is the number of passes that allow you to get a goal. I'll call this passes per goal. Usually when the soccer team scores a goal there's the same number of passes that allows you to get a goal and so when I'm watching the play I can count the number of passes and if it exceeds this ratio, then the team is most likely not to score because usually when you keep passing it allows the defense to readjust and usually when teams play there are around 5.6 passes when they score a goal so when you are counting the soccer game, you can count as the play starts, if they exceed 5 1/2 or 6 passes, you can automatically determine that they will not score and there's a great soccer related math project I like to use.
