The registration number for your General Records Exam is important, as it allows you to access and take the test, both online and in person, and access your scores when they are ready. When you register for the exam, you will automatically receive a registration number. To avoid any difficulties, it is best to keep track of this number. However, if you do lose it, it can be easily retrieved.
Check your existing documentation. The registration number is a seven-digit number found on your score report after you have taken the test. If you need the number before taking the test, check your email. You will have automatically received a confirmation email once you registered online.
Email the test administrator. If you registered through ETS, you can visit their website to access the online inquiry form. You will need to provide the email address you initially used to register, as well as your name and optional contact information. Write your question in the appropriate field and a representative will be able to help you retrieve your number.
Call the test administrator. At ETS you can either make a local call by dialing 1-609-771-7670, or toll free at 1-866-473-4373. You will be prompted to provide your name, address, date of birth, test date if you have this, social security number, and telephone number.
