Though Tumblr does provide a way for you to see the blogs you follow, the platform does not provide a way for you to see who is not following you back. However, several free Tumblr apps are available that provide you with this information, as well as additional metrics about your blog. Apps like Friend or Follow, Tumblr Stalkr and Unfollowe.rs display the blogs you are following, along with each blog’s follow-back status and a Follow or Unfollow button. Unfollow those who are not following you right from the app.

Open Tumblr and log in to your dashboard.

Open the one of the unfollower tools in a new browser tab (see Resources).

Click the “Connect” button in the Unfollow.rs main page to open the Tumblr App Authorization page. Click the “Login With Tumblr” icon to open the authorization page in Tumblr Stalkr. For Friend or Follow, create an account by entering an email address and password. Click “Connect to Tumblr" to open the authorization page.

Click “Allow” to authorize the app. Note that you will be prompted to enter your Tumblr username and password if you're not already logged in to Tumblr. If you have more than one blog, click the drop-down box and select the blog to analyze. Your unfollower dashboard opens.

Click “View Results” next to the blog to view the status of those you follow in Friend or Follow, then click the “Friends" option in the top toolbar. Hover over the thumbnails for each of the blogs you follow to view the follow-back status. In Tumblr Stalkr, click the “Not Following Me Back” option in the top toolbar to view the status of those you follow. When you authorize the Unfollow.rs app, your dashboard immediately opens to display a list of those you follow with their follow-back status.

Click “Unfollow” next to any user who is not following you back to unfollow him.
