Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC)

MSSC provides two-tiered courses in logistics made up of certified logistics associate (CLA), and certified logistics technician (CLT). Applicants must first take the CLA foundation course before registering for the CLT training and to qualify for certification in logistics. Course offerings in CLA courses consist of basic knowledge of logistics such as safety, quality control, teamwork and good workplace conduct. The CLT training is a mid-level course that will provide students with knowledge in supply chain logistics. Students will receive training in product receiving, storage, packaging and shipping and inventory control. Both courses are offered online. Students who successfully complete the training will receive a diploma certification which is valid for five years.
