Instructions for Protectall Safe Combinations

Protectall safes use a single wheel that you turn back and forth to input the combination. You need to be sure that you get the right numbers put in from the right direction and with the proper number of turns in order to make sure the safe will accept the combination you give it. Otherwise, you'll experience endless frustration as your safe keeps your property safe from you.

1 Look at the safe combination

Look at the safe combination. It should give you arrows for clockwise and counter clockwise, the number of times you need to make full rotations of the dial, and the numbers you need to stop on.

2 Turn the dial

Turn the dial in the direction shown for the first number. Complete the full rotations listed (4 is the most common) and stop the wheel with the first number directly under the red line at the 12 o' clock position.

3 Turn the dial-2

Turn the dial the opposite direction for the next number, making the required number of full turns (usually 3). Stop with the second number beneath the red hash mark at the 12 o' clock position.

4 Make the number

Reverse direction and make the number of full turns (usually 2) to the third number. Leave it at the red hash mark.

5 Turn the dial-3

Slowly turn the dial in the reverse direction from the last number. When it stops pull the lever and open the safe door.
