Brigham Young University is a Mormon school in Provo, Utah. On its Admissions page, the school's website notes that your high school GPA and an ACT or SAT score are important elements of your application to the college. However, it states that no specific minimum guarantees inclusion because of an emphasis on well-rounded students.
The BYU site provides data on average class GPAs for entering freshmen. In 2011, new students had a 3.80 GPA. The average went up in each of the next two years, to 3.81 in 2012 and 3.82 in 2013. The site also shows that transfers admitted in 2011 and 2012 averaged a 3.67 GPA. The average ACT score for freshman students was over 28 each year from 2011 to 2013 as well.
