How to Graph Radians

Transcript

How to graph radians. I'm Bon Crowder with Math4.com, and we're going to talk about graphing radians. The first thing you have to know is you have to have special graph paper. It starts out looking like a coordinate plane but then it has all these nice little concentric circles on it. So a radian is graphed or a radian point is graphed with the radius and then the degree measurement. So on this first one, the blue one, we go out one and then we go around a Pi half so we go around to here. So there we have one Pi halves. On this green point, we have three five Pi fours so we go out one, two, three and then around five Pi fours. So there's one, two, three, four, five Pi fours. I can do that, one, two, no it's one, two, three, four, five Pi fours. And then the pink one we go out five, three, four, five on the radius and then we go around Pi six which isn't much, up to here. And there we have our three points and that's how you graph radians. I'm Bon Crowder with MathFour.com. Have fun.
