If you use an embedded Streampad player for your Tumblr theme, you can change the existing song to another audio track by deleting your existing audio post on the blog and posting a new audio track. The Streampad widget automatically plays all of your audio posts on the page in order of appearance in your timeline. You can also modify the attributes of the Streampad widget or replace the widget by directly editing the widget HTML code in your theme.
Add Audio Post
Log in to your Tumblr dashboard, and then click the “Audio” icon to open the New Audio Post form.
Click “URL,” and then type the URL to a track or playlist hosted on the Web. You can also click “Search,” and then type a name of a track to find a song in the Tumblr catalog. To upload an MP3 file from your hard drive, click the “Choose File” icon, browse to and click the file to upload, and then click “Open.” Your audio track loads in the audio post.
Click “Post” publish the post. You can click “Private,” and then click “Create Private Post” to hide the audio post from users’ view, if desired. If the audio post is private, only you will be able to see the post.
Publish additional audio posts to add songs that will play in chronological order in the Streampad player.
