How to Change Where I Live on Facebook

If you have gone to college or your family has moved, make sure to update your Facebook timeline so your friends know about your new location. When you change the city you live in, you can also change which of your Facebook friends can view this information.
1 Navigate to your Facebook timeline
Navigate to your Facebook timeline on your PC and click the "Update Info" button to open the About page.
2 Click Edit
Click "Edit" in the Living section of the About page.
3 Enter your new location in the Current City field
Enter your new location in the Current City field. As you type a location, it will appear in a menu underneath the field. Click the correct location to add it as your current city.
4 Click the Audience Selector icon
Click the "Audience Selector" icon to the right of the Current City field to select which of your Facebook friends can view this information.
5 Click Save to save the new city
Click "Save" to save the new city as your current location on your timeline.
- You can also change your relationship status, work, education and family information from the About screen.
